Tv didn't work in room. Jacazzi Broken. Shower jets didn't work. When we notified the front desk they sent a maintainence worker up who said things weren't working due to the weather he couldn't do anything about it. arrive @ 745 for our reservation the host told us they were very behind didn't even sit 730 reservations yet, no problem we had a few drinks at the bar.Finally around 9pm we were sat took 25minutes for a waiter to come to our table we ordered drinks&appetizers about 20mins later our drinks arrived with our appetizers I went to order the rack of ribs the server practically laughed at me and said they were sold out. I ordered salmon,boyfriend got filet.Looking around the restaurant seemed to be very unorganized and poorly staffed. After waiting an hour our dinner finally arrived at this point we've been there over 2hours.The dinner came out and was not even cooked. The steak and salmon were burnt on the outside but completely raw on the inside. I got the impression they completely forgot about our orders and just threw something together real fast and tried to pass it on to us. When my boyfriend called over the waiter he said "it wasn't his department to handle that and we should get the manager". Manager came over offered to make another dinner, at that point we had enough.we chose to just get the bill and leave.Manager expressed it was on the house not to worry. I will give them credit for standing up and doing the right thing. But the overall actions of everyone there and conditions of the room were totally unacceptable. I will NEVER go here again. It really is a shame because from the outside the place looks gorgeous. there is just no up keep to it.

Dear mr.reageso, In the past few months, I have had the opportunity to stay at your hotel many times. Everyone ,except for one man, has been exceptionally proficient, courteous and professional. On Christmas Eve, I stayed there.in my hurry to get to the hospital, I left my passport and credit card in my room. I did not discover this until 2 day s later. In a panic I called the hotel. Thank goodness Mario was at the desk. He aided me locating my belongings and called me back to reassure me. He also facilitated the return of my passport etc to my son in law. What a relief!! Even the few dollars in cash was in place. Both Mario and your honest housekeeping staff should be commended for their performance. I look forward to my next stay with you. Rose mary lyons

Upon arrival with my confirmation number I was told my reservation was for Sunday night and they were all booked up. Why would I book a room for Sunday night into Monday when the wedding was Saturday nigh...

Horrible experience
Had reservations for Saturday night for a wedding we were attending at the Wilshire that night. Upon arrival with my confirmation number I was told my reservation was for Sunday night and they were all booked up. Why would I book a room for Sunday night into Monday when the wedding was Saturday night? I was told I could try the Courtyard by Marriot a few miles away. We had no place to dress for the wedding, the staff made no effort to help us locate another hotel and then had the nerve to tell me they wouldn't charge me the cancellation fee for Sunday night (after it was their mistake to begin with). I am telling all my friends who have children getting married to pass on to their friends not to use this facility. Staff very unfriendly.

While the staff was pleasant, and the extras, like the breakfast and toiletries in the bathroom were nice, the walls were paper-thin and I could hear all conversation taking place in the very busy hallway outside my room. Additionally, it took the front desk staff several tries (and me multiple room changes) to find a room with an actual key rather than a key card - which I asked for with my initial check-in. For the price and rating of this hotel, I expected more.

My fiance and I are getting married at the Wilshire Grand. We also have a room block at the hotel for that night. I recently had to call to reserve a room for my parents and also get a room for my fiance the night before. I was helped by Sthefanie. She was such a great help. he was super courteous and a true pleasure to deal with. As you know weddings can be super stressful and you'd be shocked how many vendors increase that stress. It is such a breath of fresh air to deal with someone like Sthefanie that makes the experience that much easier.
